Delf Arnold Livesay, Jr., fondly known as Dick, was born on September 18, 1944, in Tennessee. He transitioned to his eternal rest on August 28, 2025, in Panama City, Florida. Dick's life was one marked by creativity, humor, and cherished relationships.
Dick was the son of D.A. and Ota Mae Vaughn Livesay, and he was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Livesay Turner. Throughout his life, he remained connected to family, including his niece, Kathryn Michele Turner Gamble, and her husband, Michael, as well as his great nephew, Isaac Gamble, who carry forward cherished memories of their time together.
A man of many talents, Dick found joy in hands-on projects, often embracing the simplicity of life with enthusiasm. Friends wishing to honor him may reflect on their own creativity by building something in their tool shed or perhaps finding pleasure in an odd story in the news. Dick also appreciated the simple delight of sitting on the porch and enjoying the moment so take a few minutes, sit on a porch and ponder.
His spirit and legacy will continue to resonate with those he touched throughout his journey.
