Mary Frances Ludlam, a cherished member of her community, passed away on May 14, 2025, in Tallahassee, Florida. Born on March 12, 1950, in Abbeville, Alabama, Mary dedicated her life to serving others, working as a housekeeper for many years. Her unwavering commitment to her work brought comfort and care to many.
Mary was a beloved member of the New Hope Christian Center in Havana, Florida, where her faith and compassion touched the lives of countless individuals. She was known for her strong spirit and her love for nurturing both plants and people. Gardening brought her immense joy, and she could often be found tending to her flower beds and vegetable garden, enjoying the beauty of nature.
Family was of utmost importance to Mary. She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Ludlam Lindsy of Eufaula, Alabama, and Diane Cunningham of Panama City, Florida, along with several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Frances Ludlam, her son, Jeff Jackson, and her brothers Roy, Robert, Jerry, and Mike Ludlam. She also grieves the loss of her sisters, Mildred Jacobsen, Edna Hoover, and Betty Shaw.
Mary's kindness, dedication, and the memories she created will forever be remembered by all whose lives she touched. Her legacy will continue to live on through her family and the many cherished moments shared with friends.
