Richard Allan Lenain

Richard Allan Lenain, age 46, went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2026, after a long and courageous fight with cancer. He faced his illness with incredible strength, quiet determination, and unwavering faith. Even in his hardest moments, Richard remained focused on loving others, leaving behind a powerful example of courage, grace, and perseverance.

Born on May 14, 1979, Richard was a carpenter by trade. When life felt heavy, Richard found peace on the water. Fishing was more than a hobby to him; it was where he found calm, reflection, and a deep connection to God’s creation.

Above all else, Richard loved his family. He was a devoted father to his children, Leana (Jordan) Carter, Ricky, Matthew, Annabelle, and Joshua, who were his greatest joy and the reason he fought so hard. He is also survived by the love of his life and fiancé, Jennifer Faircloth, his best friend and constant companion, and her children, Austin, Briana, Richard, and Clayton, whom he loved deeply and proudly as his own.

Richard is also survived by his parents, Buster and Annette Lenain; his brothers, Jamie (Brittany) Lenain and Tony (Christina) Lenain; and his precious grandchildren Michael, Elijah, and Phoebe, along with extended family and friends who were touched by his love, humor, and compassion.

Though cancer took his earthly body, it never took his spirit. His faith sustained him through every battle, and his love will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. We find comfort in knowing that Richard is now healed, whole, and resting peacefully in the arms of his Savior.
