Sandra Gunther, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on December 27, 2025, in Bonifay, Florida, surrounded by her adoring family. Born on July 16, 1975, in Marianna, Florida, Sandra filled the lives of those around her with her vibrant spirit and love for all things sparkly and glitzy.
She was known for her nurturing nature and dedication to her family, giving everything she had with a radiant smile and an embrace that could illuminate any room. Sandra loved her children, Shelby Gunther and Bailey Gunther, beyond measure; they were the center of her universe and her ultimate motivation. Her legacy of love extends further into her role as a grandmother to her cherished grandchildren, Trenton, Thomas, Ciara, Adam, and Lillian, Fayth and Jeremiah who held a special place in her heart.
A woman of many interests, Sandra had a green thumb and spent countless hours playing with her house plants. With a knack for building and repairing things around the family farm, she was a true embodiment of hard work and creativity.
Sandra is survived by her beloved children, Shelby and Bailey; her siblings, Teresa Martin (Ricky), Catherine Hedlund (James), Michael Ziemba (Ann), and Miranda Davis (Adam Mitchell); sister-in-law, Beth Davis; and numerous great nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Norma Jean Davis; her father, Richard Leroy Davis; and her brother, Patrick Davis, who will be honored in her memory.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the emerald coast hospice nurses and staff, including Nurse Debbie Dowling, Nurse Crystal, Nurse Joy, and Nurse Tammy, who provided loving and patient care during this difficult time. Sandra Gunther will be missed profoundly, but she will never be forgotten, as her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
