It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Tony Ray Bonner Sr., a beloved father, son, brother, and friend. He passed away January 21, 2026 at the age of 59. Tony will be deeply missed by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love for his family and simple, cherished pastimes.

Born to Willie Clyde and Jackie Illadean Bonner, Tony grew up in Georgia and built a life centered on family. He was a dedicated father to his three sons, whom he loved dearly and was immensely proud of.

Tony found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed the tranquility of the water, a passionate collector of various items, and had a lively spirit that often found expression on the roller rink floor. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Tony loved to tell jokes and bring laughter wherever he went. These hobbies and his infectious humor were a testament to his vibrant personality and his ability to find happiness in everyday moments. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family and sons.

He is survived by a loving family who will carry his memory in their hearts, including his sons, Tony Ray Bonner Jr., Cody Allen Bonner, and Alec Fisher Bonner, as well as Jace Colt Hewitt and William Clark, who were loved as his own sons. He is also survived by his parents, Mr. Willie Clyde Bonner and Mrs. Jackie Illadean Bonner; his sister, Tara Bonner Neely, and her four children; his brother, David Bonner, and his three children; and his cherished grandchildren, Auroa Khol Bonner and Skipper Allen Bonner.

Tony's warmth, sincerity, and profound love for his family will be remembered always. He has left an indelible mark on the lives of those around him, and while he is gone, his spirit endures in the memories we shared.

In accordance with his wishes, the family will be holding a private memorial service at a later date to celebrate his life and legacy.
