Vickie Joann Gordon

Vickie Joann Gordon passed away on September 20,2025 in Panama City, Florida. She was born on January 24,1955 to Wendell and Joann Doswell. Her life’s work was centered around caring for others, and she found her true calling in nursing-a profession she proudly served in for over 30 years. For the last 14 years of her career, Vickie worked at Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, where she touched countless lives with her skill and unwavering compassion.

Vickie‘s joy in life came from simple yet profound pleasures- spending time with her family, laughing with loved ones, and making memories that will last for generations.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children: Wendy Swindle (Mark), Andrea Baggett, Jeremy Baggett, and Cheyenne Gordon; her grandchildren: Bailey, Payeton ,Whitney, James, and Chase; and her great-granddaughter Dakota. She is also survived by her sisters Carolyn Helms (Keith) and Kay Shawley; and many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Vickie was preceded in death by her nephews Brent and Casey, and her great- nephew Jacob, whose memories she carried with her always.

A celebration of her life will be held in Lynn Haven, Florida. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
